Past President and Past District Governor Peter Lagarias will lead a presentation about Rotaplast International, a non-profit organization that treats children with the cleft lip and palate anomaly who would otherwise not receive surgical intervention.

Rotaplast started as a project that Peter launched in 1992 with then-member Dr. Angelo Capozzi. The first mission, in La Serena, Chile, took place in January of 1993. Since then, Rotaplast has become an independent non-profit organization based in San Francisco that has performed more than 17,000 surgeries in South America, Asia, and Africa.

Our club continues to provide substantial financial support to this important organization.

Enjoy lunch with your fellow Rotarians as we learn more about this organization and the wonderful work it does.
