District 5150 held a Bike & Hike to End Polio on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Point Reyes National Seashore. Rotarians from all over the District and even non-Rotarians met at the Bear Valley Picnic Area to check in and then either choose a trail to hike or participate in the 33-mile supported bike ride on public roads through the rolling hills of West Marin. No matter what you chose, you got a great workout.

Dora & David Dye and Carla & Erik Walter represented the Rotary Club of San Francisco at the Bike & Hike. Dora and David hiked the shortest trail while Carla and Erik challenged themselves to a longer and steeper hike.

After the hiking or biking, we were all treated to local beer from Pond Farm Brewing in San Rafael as well as a delicious meal of vegan mac and cheese, salad, grilled zucchini, salmon, chicken, and dessert. Everyone who participated enjoyed fellowship in a beautiful setting and raised money to End Polio now.
