Sue Rokaw, District 5150 RYLA Director, and RYLA campers will talk about the 2016 RYLA camp and tell inspiring stories of how that experience has made dramatic changes in the lives of the youth we serve.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program, RYLA, is now in its 32nd year. Started by the Rotary Club of San Francisco as Camp Enterprise, RYLA is now a district wide program offering a three day leadership experience each spring to over 100 high school students. In the last four years, the RYLA program has added new components to the program. The basic focus of RYLA’s three days of camp is to guide the campers in developing principles of citizenship, leadership, and community service through an interactive series of activities. RYLA now has youth staff that assists in delivering the program. Beyond the 3 day camp, RYLA offers a year round program where RYLA graduates and continue develop leadership skills through monthly activities throughout the year.

Come and enjoy lunch while hearing inspiring stories about how this program has changed lives.
