It's not easy being the second oldest Rotary Club in the world. It means we've had to reinvent ourselves more times than almost every other Rotary Club on the planet.

We constantly refocus our Club to meet changing needs and address evolving challenges. Once a year, at the Club Assembly, we take a step back so we can see farther ahead. We have made great strides in the recent years and we want to keep the momentum going. Now we need your help!

The time has come for us to create the 110th edition of the Rotary Club of San Francisco. We need your help! More participation from more members makes for a better result. Please think about our mission and objectives, and about adjustments we might make, and come to give your input.

Rotary International President-Elect Ian H.S. Riseley has designated ROTARY: MAKING A DIFFERENCE as the Rotary theme for 2017-2018. That's a great beginning, but it's up to us to determine how to focus our Club to make the difference we want to make.

We have some important information to share, and some important decisions to make, including:

  • Who are the new board members?
  • What did we learn from the recent club surveys?
  • What were the results of the Board retreat?
  • What projects should we focus on in 2017-18 and beyond?
  • What kinds of social activities would be fun?
  • Should we accept the recommended changes to the bylaws? The bylaws were last changed in 2009. See below for a summary of the recommended changes. Note: A quorum (one third of club members) must be present to change the bylaws.

Several surprises are in store for everyone who attends.

We expect this to be a crowded meeting, so please RSVP to make sure there will be room for you.

Make your voice heard as we aim the Rotary Club of San Francisco at the future!!
