Ta king place every October on the Marina Green over Italian Heritage Weeken d\, SFFW's air show\, the parade of ships\, and many community events hav e become a significant and integral part of the City's local culture and economy. SFFW features a unique training and education program that bring s together civilian and military forces to develop and share best practic es in humanitarian assistance. Come hear all about Fleet Week\, the Blue Angels\, its history\, and how fleet week impacts San Francisco's economy . Lewis Loeven\, Executive Director\, will share the inside scope on this year's Fleet Week festivities. Mr. Loeven began his work with the San Fr ancisco Fleet Week Association in 2010\, serving as a member of its Board of Directors. In 2012\, he took on the role of Executive Director\, deve loping many of the unique programs that brought San Francisco Fleet Week to national attention\, including the creation of the Fleet Week Center f or Humanitarian Assistance. He oversees the execution of Fleet Week and a ll of the operations\, sponsorship\, logistics\, and planning efforts. Th is is a regular membership meeting of the Rotary Club of San Francisco\, open to all Rotarians\, visiting Rotarians\, prospective members\, and gu ests.
