Drivers needed to pick up pre-packaged meals at The Arc San Francisco and deliver them to Arc participants who are experiencing food insecurity. Exact directions will be emailed to you prior to your shift. It is recommended to have two drivers per route for ease: one can drive, and the other can get out at each stop to hand meals to happy and grateful participants. You must wear a facial mask covering over both the nose and the mouth when meeting the recipient.

Please arrive at The Arc (1500 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103) by 4:30 PM. Usually, metered parking is available in front. If you come earlier around 4 PM, you can help us bag the dinners if you like.

Members of our Club are invited to join the Zoom chat and chew after the delivery of meals from 5:30 PM to 6 PM for fellowship with Friends Like Me (FLM) at The Arc. Link will be sent to you with your route prior to the day.

Drivers are needed the first and third Monday of the month unless there is a holiday and the date shifts. Please register online or contact Barbara Streett, Volunteer Manager at The Arc San Francisco at bstreett@thearcsf.org. If you sign up but need to cancel, please contact Barbara immediately.
