Communication & Media for Business Professionals, a District 5150 Rotary Means Business event, was hosted by the Vocational Services committee of our Club. This was a virtual event. We had 38 attendees.
The first part of the presentation was a short description of the RMB fellowship, vocational service, and its role within Rotary. After that, our featured speaker, Amy Scruggs, did her presentation. In her presentation, she shared tips on how to communicate better in person and virtually.
We ended the event by going into breakout rooms and learning about each other’s professions and businesses. We also discussed our key takeaways from the presentation. Overall, the event was a success, and we received great feedback from attendees.
