The People of Action Summits are powered by Rotary Zones 26 and 27. This region is made up of 30 Districts and thousands of Rotary members across the Western US as well as part of British Columbia, Canada. The People of Action Summits will provide an in-person and virtual opportunity for Rotary members to join forces with communities and industry experts to tackle some of the biggest challenges that we face. These five different summits are all about individuals identifying issues, solving problems, and making a difference on:
  • Food Security - July 30
  • Green Transportation and Clean Energy - September 10
  • Water: From Source to Sea - September 10
  • Healthy Soils - September 10
  • Stop Human Trafficking - October 1

Assisi Opportunity
Yes, an opportunity to either go to Assisi, Italy or to work with Rotarians from our sister club, the Rotary Club of Assisi! John Mathers (Management Consulting | eVo Associates) leads this event on November 26 and 27, 2022 with Rotary District 2090 and is looking for volunteers to help in a number of ways. The event is a global effort to gain participants’ commitment to actions in 2023 to address the climate crisis. As pointed out by the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Gutierrez on July 18, 2022: "We have a choice. Collective action or collective suicide. It is in our hands.” This special global event will have attendees in person as well as on Zoom and will reach North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and parts of the Middle East and Asia. The most important work beforehand is the promotion of the event across Rotary and to other groups. If interested, please contact John.
