Grant Presentation
Peter Logan (Law: Insurance | Peter Logan Law Offices), member of the San Francisco Rotary Foundation, presented a $10,000 check to Cameron House to provide Comfort Kits to the clients whom they serve. Soon, Rotarians will help to fill these kits with needed personal items.

We had the chance to hear from Cameron House's Development Director Troy Wilson and Director of Social Services Yulanda Kwong. Yulanda told the story of how one of her clients and child were pushed into homelessness by the husband and father. Cameron House helped the client and child re-establish their lives. Another notable note is that Cameron House has a long history in San Francisco of serving the Chinese community going all the way back to 1874. The family-centered services of Cameron House focus on providing a safe and healthy community where people can learn, heal, and thrive.

Mr. Rothmann has spoken to our Club several times in recent years. His shared perspectives on the state of our nation, our state, and our city were riveting and timely as today was Election Day. He stressed that we must maintain a healthy, two-party system to survive as a democracy. President Christopher thanked John Rothmann and announced that 100 children would be inoculated against polio in his name.
