Esther Landau joined our Club on August 17, 2021. She is the Senior Director of Advancement for The Arc San Francisco and is responsible for all the fundraising and communications at the organization. She started at The Arc San Francisco in June of this year and prior to that, was in the same role at the Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center, a similar organization on the west side of the City.

Esther is a serious knitter and crossword enthusiast. In her past life, she was a professional flutist, but these days she just occasionally grabs the pennywhistle and plays a few tunes. She is married to Caroline Pincus, and their daughter, Ruby, is a senior at Columbia in New York, where she is majoring in Yiddish.

Esther joined our Club as part of The Arc San Francisco's organizational membership, to support the growing connection between The Arc SF and members of our Club.

Editor's Note: In this column, we invite a new member in our Club to share with us. Please join me in welcoming this new member the next time you see her in person at any of our events.
