The journey in Potential Rotary Leaders Seminars (PRLS) for Dora Dye and Susan Dean began in July 2019 when both took Basic PRLS. Next, they completed Master PRLS Courses 3, 4, 1, and 2. On Saturday, November 21, 2020, both Dora and Susan completed Master PRLS 5 and graduated from the series. Both received an impressive Master PRLS pin and a book by Dale Carnegie. Congratulations to both! For those of you who are not familiar with PRLS, it is a series of courses designed by Rotarians Betsy Koefoed, Bill Koefoed, and Michael Ford to teach Rotarians skills and techniques as they prepare to assume leadership roles in their Clubs.
Kudos to Eric Schmautz for bringing Thanksgiving to The Arc San Francisco despite the challenges caused by COVID-19. A full story about this year's meal and celebration along with mention of those involved to make this event happen will be published in the December 6, 2020 issue of Grindings.
We have another author in our Club. Carla Walter has written and just released SACRED DANCE MEDITATIONS, 365 Globally Inspired Movement Practices Enhancing Awakening, Clarity, and Connection. For more information and to get a copy, visit here. Congratulations, Carla!
