Induction of New Members
 
My name is Terry Pickering. It is a pleasure to fill in for Dan Joraanstad and to welcome our newest members to the Club!
 
Two new members were inducted on September 10, 2019. 
 
Evan Fu attended the University of California, Santa Cruz and is co-founder of Socialhaus, a modern rendition of the Viennese cafe, the German biergarten, and the Chinese mahjong bar. Evan hopes to help diversify our Club through his unique perspective and intends to focus on Club service, community service or youth service. His mentor is Connor Krone.
   
Carlos Infante attended Webster University and is a vice president with Chase Bank. Carlos joined Rotary to engage fully nine of his Chase Bank teammates and to give back and lend support to our community. Carlos is passionate about membership and plans to begin his Rotary career focused on attracting and engaging new members for our Club. His mentor is Bill Poppen.
 
Three other new members were inducted on November 12, 2019:
 
Ravinder Sehgal attended the University of California, San Francisco and Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. He is a biology professor at San Francisco State University, one of our Club's corporate members. Ravinder's mother is a Rotarian in Sweden. He looks forward to working with Rotarians interested in contributing to the environment and a more equitable society. His mentor is Terry Pickering.
 
Christopher Eggers attended Chico State and is owner/founder of Clavus Group, providing security assessment and planning services for commercial and residential properties. Christopher's father is a Rotarian. In Rotary Chris wishes to focus on community service. His mentor is Christopher Wiseman.
 
Miranti Ojong attended Cornell University and is owner/founder of Armada whose mission is to promote financial literacy through education. Miranti was born in Germany, lived in Indonesia, and has been in San Francisco since she was six. She joins Rotary eager to lend her skills in support of youth financial literacy. Her mentor is David Dye.
