In August 2018, we had Martha Ryan, Executive Director of Homeless Prenatal Program (HPP) and Megan Lucas, Board Member and former client of HPP, give an inspirational presentation to our Club about the work that HPP is doing in our community.
The Rotary Club of San Francisco also works to support HPP through the donation of and stuffing of diaper bags of supplies. These bags are given to pregnant women and their families at the end of a series of 12-week prenatal classes. Our Club gathered on Tuesday, September 11 to stuff 72 diaper bags with goodies. Rotarian Susan Dean also made multiple baby blankets, as did Tom Brunner’s wife, Wallace.Several of our members attended baby showers on Thursday, September 13, to distribute the baby bags to the families. Thanks to all who came out to help!
