Our Club's Foundation, the San Francisco Rotary Foundation, recently presented financial support to RotaCare Bay Area. This year, $7,500 was awarded to the Northern Peninsula Clinic. Started by Rotarians over 32 years ago, RotaCare has helped to fill the gap of healthcare services in over 10 medical ambulatory clinics. In the Bay Area, RotaCare continues to provide support to patients providing free healthcare to those who are underserved and uninsured.

Frequently, many patients in the Bay Area, who are at or below the safety net, go for medical care and services. They are migrant workers, hotel service management workers, domestics, unemployed, and homeless, all requiring the services that RotaCare has helped to provide. Our Club has helped our local RotaCare clinics (Northern Peninsula and Coastside) by staffing clinics with administrative and licensed clinical support, remote offsite clinical reporting, technology support, translation services, and healthcare staffing.
