E-MEETING Highlights for October 6, 2020: Dr. Tatjana Kobb, Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations
President JT Harold Forbus (Accounting | Bogdan & Frasco) welcomed everyone and thanked our Club's International Committee for organizing today's celebration of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. He expressed how proud he is to be a Rotarian and praised our Club for its strong leadership support. He listed Rotary's seven areas of focus and referred to Rotary's motto of Service Above Self. Next, he introduced and thanked Mary Bates, the District Governor of Rotary District 5150; Danielle Lallement, the District Governor Elect of Rotary District 5150; Gary Chow, the District Governor Elect Nominee of Rotary District 5150; and Liz Mark, an Assistant Governor of Rotary District 5150.

SERVICE PROJECT October 19, 2020:  Delivering Meals for The Arc San Francisco
Drivers needed to pick up pre-packaged meals at The Arc San Francisco and deliver to individual residences of Arc participants who are experiencing food insecurity. Exact directions will be provided when you pick up the meals. Hand delivery of meals must occur between 4 PM and 5:30 PM in advance of the Monday Night Dinner Club with Friends Like Me via Zoom to be held on the first and third Monday of each month.

For the past 25 years, the San Francisco Silent Film Festival (SFSFF) has pursued its mission of bringing silent-era cinema to life for contemporary audiences. In this presentation, SFSFF president Rob Byrne brings the festival to life, sharing the wonder of silent-era cinema and the organization’s efforts to present and preserve this fragile art form. Advanced registration required. DISTRICT 5150 October 24, 2020: Road Rally to END POLIO NOW!
Rotary International District 5150 invites you to support World Polio Day, on Saturday, October 24, 2020, by participating in a Rotary Road Rally with Rotarians, Friends of Rotary, and local community members. You may participate in any one of the three counties that are part of Rotary District 5150 or even virtually.

Join fellow Rotarians and their children, guests, and of course, beloved pets, for a good old-fashioned Halloween costume party. There will be a prize for the best costume; our judges will be taking notes!  Advanced registration required.
