A Message from the Editor
The last time we met was at the Annual Holiday Party on December 15, 2020 where I was on a computer screen dressed in a Santa suit. The party was virtual, but it drew the largest attendance our Club ever had since we began meeting virtually in March 2020. Many thanks to Stephanie Schmautz, Chair of the Holiday Party Committee. See the next story for the highlights from the party.

In this final issue of Grindings for 2020, you will find a list of those members celebrating their birthday in January 2021 as well as a list of members celebrating their anniversary in our Club in January. Help us keep these lists accurate by updating your information on ClubRunner.

Recap of the 2020 Holiday Party and Annual Meeting
Over 90 members, guests, and visiting Rotarians logged into the first virtual Holiday Party and Annual Meeting of the Rotary Club of San Francisco in its 112 years of history held at Nakatomi Plaza on December 15, 2020. We were at this Plaza virtually, because it is the site of a favorite movie of President JT Forbus (Accounting | Bogdan & Frasco), who welcomed everyone and then introduced Stephanie Schmautz (Elder Care and Senior Services | The Carlisle), Chair of the Holiday Party Committee. Stephanie went over the program for the day and was joined by Rhonda Poppen (Grant Writing | GRANTdog) who managed the raffle and Mary Liu (Real Estate: Sales | JM Real Estate Group | Vanguard Properties) who managed the technology for today's party.
