LUNCHEON MEETING MINUTES July 23, 2019: Buck Institute
President Casey Blair (Financial Services: Private Trading | Feis Options) opened the meeting by welcoming Jagpal Sran, President-elect of the Rotary Club of San Rafael Evening. She is visiting Rotary Clubs in the area in preparation for her upcoming term as president of her Club.

Zak Franet, a government relations and public affairs professional as well as a dedicated advocate for youth experiencing homelessness, will speak about his path to recovery from his experience as a homeless youth with addiction.

CLUB SOCIAL August 25, 2019: Giants vs. A's at Oakland
Take me out to the ball game! Come watch the San Francisco Giants take on the Oakland A’s and mingle with East Bay Rotarians at our joint social event. Tailgating begins at 11:00 AM in the Oakland Coliseum parking lot, and the game starts at 1:05 PM.

Topher White, founder and CEO of Rainforest Connection, will speak on how to protect our rainforests using conservation technology that captures sound signatures of destructive activities.
 
SERVICE PROJECT September 7, 2019: Rotary Meadow Restoration
Get a little muddy and help Sutro Stewards weed and restore Rotary Meadow - a garden of native plants our Club planted at the summit of Mount Sutro in 2004. Friends and family (including children ten and older) are welcome. After all the work is done, we'll enjoy pizza, beer, and fellowship.
