Adding Foundation member to our Board. The Board approved the addition of the president of the San Francisco Rotary Foundation to the Board of Rotary Service, Inc. The SFRF president would be a non-voting member on our Board.

Dr. Oral Moses, Professor Emeritus of Voice and Music Literature at Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, GA, will provide an overview of African American music, including the Negro spiritual, the Blues, jazz, gospel, and popular music. Hand delivery of meals must occur between 4 PM and 5:30 PM in advance of the Monday Night Dinner Club with Friends Like Me via Zoom to be held on the first and third Monday of each month.

Carnaval San Francisco (CSF) curates educational platforms and creates artistic spaces of revelry that heal, strengthen, and unite disenfranchised communities of color through the power of art and culture. Rodrigo Durán is CSF’s Festival Director since 2016 and will share some safe spaces he has created for the Latinx community to celebrate their cultures and languages. Advanced registration required. Christopher Pollock, Historian-in-Residence for the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department and author, shares with us the history and features of our beloved Golden Gate Park as well as the Park's recent 150th anniversary. Join us at this service opportunity to bag baby wipes for giveaway to clients of the Homeless Prenatal Program. We will meet at an open-air warehouse to allow social distancing while assembling the baby wipes. Participation is limited to FIFTEEN people, so sign up early. Masks are required; double masks are preferred.
