Time To Register for World Wide Rotary Day
What: World Wide Rotary Day, launched by our Club in 1997, honors the San Francisco Consular Corps as the special guests of the Rotary Club of San Francisco. Typically, representatives from about 35 countries attend. The event also recognizes the many international service activities of the Rotary Club of San Francisco and the broad global impact of Rotary International.

This year, we will feature a distinguished panel of leaders connecting the world to discuss three of Rotary International’s pillars that benefit the climate: fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; and growing local economies.

Who: Rhonda Poppen, 2018-2019 Club President and Not-for-Profit Consultant, will serve as moderator. The panelists will be Dr. Michael Reyes, Professor, Family Community Medicine and Global Health Sciences Faculty Affiliate, UCSF; Dr. Martha Rutherford, Not-for-Profit Leader and Water Solutions Educator; and Bart Skorupa, Social Entrepreneur and Author.

ROTARY LUNCHEON March 24, 2020: World Wide Rotary Day
World Wide Rotary Day honors the San Francisco Consular Corps as the special guests of the Rotary Club of San Francisco. One of the most popular programs on our Club's annual calendar, WWRD was founded in 1997 to recognize our Club's international service activities and the support of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. This year, we will feature a distinguished panel of leaders connecting the world to discuss three of Rotary International’s pillars that benefit the climate: fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; and growing local economies. As always, many members of the Consular Corps of San Francisco will attend as our guests.

We need Club members to volunteer to serve as hosts for visiting consuls. If you are interested in hosting a consul, please contact JT Forbus.

Please RSVP well in advance so we can be sure to have enough seats for all who want to attend. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT.
