Join the Action Leadership Program with Students (ALPS) for virtual leadership coach training! This first session of a two-part training will prepare Rotarians to act as facilitators and leadership coaches for youth participants in ALPS. Rotarians will gain a foundation knowledge of the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership and how to work with young people.

Please email Harmony Ma, ALPS Program Manager, to register and for Zoom links and training materials.

Each training will be limited to EIGHT individuals. Registration will be open up to 24 hours prior to training, if space is available. If you cannot make this date and are interested in becoming a leadership coach or otherwise involved with ALPS, please email Harmony.

ALPS is a new youth service sponsored by the Rotary Club of San Francisco that aims to empower youth with the confidence and tools to successfully lead change projects in their schools, communities, and world. Our programs prepare youth to be ‘service above self’ leaders for a civil society and healthy communities.

Leadership coaches will work with high school-aged youth to provide guidance and facilitation for a youth-led community change project. Project duration varies, and facilitation sessions are scheduled by youth and adults together.
