SERVICE OPPORTUNITY: Walk to End Alzheimer's

Join the members of the Rotary Club of San Francisco, their families, and their friends on a walk to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research.

Pre-registration for the walk is required. To register, go here. Follow the instructions on the website to either join the walk or donate. Each participant should register themselves so they can accept the terms of the liability waiver and provide a valid email address where they can receive details about the event.

If walking, be there on the day of the event by 8 AM to check in at the Metro Events building located in Pier 27 where Chestnut, Battery, and Lombard Streets intersect with The Embarcadero. There will be a ceremony at 9:30 AM, and the Walk begins at 10 AM. Terry Pickering will stand by the registration site and direct everyone to an area where all other members of the Rotary Club of San Francisco Team will be standing. It is recommended that you contact Terry the day before (November 8) to confirm that you will be attending so that he can expect you on November 9. Bring sun protection such as sunblock, sunglasses, or hat, and wear comfortable walking shoes. The walk is approximately one mile. See you on Saturday, November 9, and thank you for your support!
