E-MEETING: Mobility Trends and the Future of Transportation

Doug Lloyd will present an overview of the state of electric vehicles, the state of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles (AVs), and the technologies behind them. 

Doug is a strategic operation, business development, and strategy expert with a passion for the self-driving, autonomous, and electric vehicles industry. He is also interested in helping to solve the challenges of the entire transportation industry. In 2018, he joined a Committee on Emerging and Innovative Public Transport and Technologies within the Transportation Research Board (TRB) in Washington D.C. Before focusing on self-driving, autonomous, and electric vehicles, Doug spent the previous eight years as an executive within a customized automation company leading in China, India, Germany, and North America. Before this, he worked over seven years within Fortune 500 financial institutions. He earned his B.S. in Business Management in 1999 and his MBA in 2005 from Arizona State University.

This is a regular membership meeting of The Rotary Club of San Francisco, open to all Rotarians, visiting Rotarians, prospective members, and guests.
