Enjoy a performance of poetry and music honoring our veterans!
This event, the West Coast awards celebration for the Heroes’ Voices National Veterans Poetry Contest, features poetry and music exploring a variety of perspectives on war, peace and soldiers’ experiences before, during and after battle. You'll hear the best of hundreds of poems submitted to the 2019 Heroes’ Voices National Veterans Poetry Contest and music that is sure to move you to tears and to laughter
Our Club is the principal sponsor of the National Veterans Poetry Contest, and of this event, thanks to the generosity of the San Francisco Rotary Foundation. A reception with the performers will follow.
We need volunteers to bring a bottle of two or wine for the reception, and to help at the performance and at the reception! Please sign up here if you can help with any of these.
We have moved this popular event to a new location: Calvary Presbyterian Church at Fillmore and Jackson.
Tickets are free. Please register in advance so we can be sure to seat you in the VIP area reserved for Rotarians.
