Enjoy a night under the stars at the Charles F. Hagar Planetarium at San Francisco State University. We will meet for bites and beverages and then be treated to a hosted talk and educational discussion from a professor of the physics and astronomy department.

The Planetarium will feature a live show in which the sky will be simulated so that we can see what it looks like from anywhere at any time. The Spitz projector at the center of the room projects more than 1,300 stars along with the sun, moon, and planets onto the dome-shaped ceiling. The show will be interactive, and questions are encouraged!

The Planetarium is located on the 4th floor of Thornton Hall, across from the elevators, on the San Francisco State campus. Thornton Hall is on the east side of the SFSU campus, off of 19th Avenue, in the Lake Merced region of San Francisco. The cost is $20 and covers food, drink, and a donation to the Planetarium. Public transportation is encouraged.

This event is limited to 45 people; so sign up early!
