Combustion passenger vehicles are the largest generator of greenhouse gas emissions in the US. In recent years, the national grid has become cleaner, in part because electric vehicles are become more prevalent. With policy change, innovation, and lower cost, EV is projected to dominate the passenger car market. From a climate perspective, the important question is “when?”

This talk will focus on specific ways communities can play a critical role in rapidly accelerating EV adoption to reach U.S. GHG targets. From personal choices and advocacy for local policy and infrastructure to consumer education and engagement, learn the ways communities can speed the shift to electric vehicles.
