Carlos Muela, owner and founder of SoMa StrEat Food Park, will tell us how he started the first food truck park in San Francisco. He'll touch on topics including the food truck industry and the positive impacts these parks are having on our neighborhoods and the local economy. He'll also talk about his own background and how he got to where he is today.

A Bay Area native and USF alum, Carlos Muela has leveraged his restaurant industry expertise and his entrepreneurial spirit to bring new locales to life in San Francisco. He strives to create the kind of fun, outdoor gathering places that city-dwellers crave, activating the spaces through food trucks, activities, community events, and festivals. A die-hard foodie, he is the mastermind and the workhorse behind SoMa StrEat Food Park, as well as SPARK Social SF and Parklab Gardens.

This is a regular membership meeting of The Rotary Club of San Francisco, open to all Rotarians, visiting Rotarians, prospective members, and guests.
