Human Trafficking is a preventable crime. It is a scourge on every community, hiding in plain sight, oftentimes right under our noses. By recognizing the skillful signs of recruitment, and knowing what to do if we see something, we can help protect our children, youth, and teens from ever experiencing being trafficked.

Laurel Botsford, founder and president of Wisdom International: Help2Others, will speak of her work to change the dynamics of the business of human trafficking through prevention education, legislation, and cross-county collaboration projects.

Laurel has a Bachelor of Arts in languages and has lived in numerous countries and cultures where she was a Doctor of Acupuncture, an Alternative Practitioner, and a Universal Energy Healer. She has published two books on Consciousness. She is a member of several anti-trafficking coalitions throughout Rotary District 5150:

  • Marin County Coalition to End Human Trafficking.
  • San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking.
  • San Mateo [based] No Traffick Ahead.

This is a regular membership meeting of The Rotary Club of San Francisco, open to all Rotarians, visiting Rotarians, prospective members, and guests.
