Moon FestivalVolunteers are needed for the Rotary Club of San Francisco's exhibit table at the 5th Annual Autumn Moon Festival. The Festival will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, on Clement Street between 6th and 9th Avenues, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our exhibit table will be on 8th Avenue and Clement Street. There will be two shifts:

1st shift: 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  2nd shift:  1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. When you register, please indicate which shift you want in the Comment box.

Below is the schedule:

10:30 a.m. – Setup

11:00 a.m. to 12 noon - Distribution of personal safety alarms to Asian Seniors

11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Represent our Club and Rotary at the exhibit table. Answer any questions about Rotary, Interact, Rotaract and our service projects. Help with the raffle drawings.

3:30 p.m. – Cleanup

The Moon Festival is often considered a “Chinese Thanksgiving” because of its celebration of gratitude and inclusion of abundant food – including the popular mooncake. It has been a difficult year for small businesses and the Asian Pacific Islander community. Join us at this festival to highlight our local API-owned businesses and culture.

All volunteers are required to wear a facial mask covering both nose and mouth at all times.  Please do not come if you’re not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone with COVID symptoms.

Please contact Mary Liu or call her at 415.378.5625 should questions arise before or during the day of service.
