SERVICE OPPORTUNITY NO. 1: Distributing Personal Safety Alarms to Asian Seniors

Volunteers (limited to ten) needed to distribute personal safety alarms to 200 Asian Seniors. Duties include: 

• Taking alarm out of the box and pulling the plastic tab from the battery compartment with pliers. 
• Distributing the alarms and demonstrating to seniors how to use the alarm.  
• Distributing instructions and safety tip flyer.  

We’ll also need a photographer to take photos. If you speak or know of someone who speaks Cantonese, Toisan, or Mandarin, that would be helpful. (NOTE: You do not need to speak Chinese to volunteer.)

All volunteers are required to wear a facial mask covering both nose and mouth at all times.  Please do not come if you’re not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone with COVID symptoms.
