Rotarians, we need your help packing essential items for the homeless! Two weekend dates and four shifts are available.

You will be stuffing backpacks with snacks and hygiene items for a Catholic Charities project sponsored by the San Francisco Rotary Foundation on either Saturday, April 10 or on Saturday, April 17.

On April 10, there are two shifts:  shift 1 from 9 AM to 11 AM and shift 2 from 10 AM to 1 PM.

On April 17, there are two shifts:  shift 1 from 9 AM to 11 AM and shift 2 from 10 AM to 1 PM.

We will be working both inside and outside. The inside space is huge and well-ventilated, and the outside area has a cushioned surface for comfort. Masks, sanitizer, hand washing facilities, snack, and of course, fellowship will be plentiful.

On each day, there are two leadership positions available, but plenty of openings for those who just want to put the kits together. We will be assembling separate individual zip-lock bags of snacks and hygiene items and then stuffing them into Rotary branded backpacks.

There is lots of free parking. $6 toll coming from the East Bay; no toll coming from SF and South Bay. Register now and then contact Carol Laughlin to select a shift.
