SERVICE PROJECT: Beach Clean-up

Recently, Rotary International announced its seventh area of focus: supporting the environment. September has been declared California Coastal Clean-up Month. In response, our Club is holding a beach clean-up on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Pick your favorite beach, schedule an hour or more of clean-up, and report your results using the Clean Swell app. The app is free, works on both iPhone and Android, and allows you to record every item and the total weight of the trash you collect, track the distance you cleaned, and much more. Please use the following naming convention for the group name: Rotary D5150 _____. Put our Club's name in the blank. For example, Rotary D5150 San Francisco #2. At the end of the day, you'll be able to see how much trash our Club has collected...and ultimately, what all of District 5150 has collected!
