New Member Induction
We are enriched once again by the arrival of a new member in the Club. J. P. was inducted into membership under the category of Real Estate, working for Coldwell Banker. She was born and raised in San Francisco, and is now working in the City. She is also a member of the Junior League of San Francisco as well as the Urban Land Institute. She is interested in contributing her talents in the area of fundraising, event planning and marketing. And she wants to learn from others in the Club and connect in the common cause of serving others. Welcome! Her sponsor and mentor is Gary Keener.

Membership Contest
We are well into building the 2018-19 membership class with four new members having been inducted since the fiscal year began on July 1. Plus we have three new members who will be brought into membership on October 9, 2018. Keep in mind that our current contest specifies that if you have invited someone to the Club or to a project or special event and eventually that person becomes a member, you will be in the running for the grand prize of a week in Hawaii on the Big Island. Once again, Harold Hoogasian is generously offering the use of his personal residence just north of Kona for the lucky winner of the contest. Thanks Harold!

For the year ending June 30, 2018, Susan Dean won the week in Hawaii. Congratulations to Susan! Who will be going to Hawaii next year? You? Good luck!

Announcing New Members Proposed for Induction
Per our procedure around membership, we will start to publicize at least a week in advance the names of people approved for membership by the Board. If anyone has comments or questions on the incoming members, this notice serves to bring to attention those who are joining. For induction at the October 9th meeting, we propose:

  • Lisa Christian, Non Profit; Community Housing
  • Kelly Minchen, Real Estate; Coldwell Banker
  • Angela Warren, Attorney-Real Estate; Warren Law Firm.

If you have any questions about these three proposed members, please contact Dan Joraanstad.
