Baby Showers at Homeless Prenatal Program
One of our ongoing service projects is support of the Homeless Prenatal Program. HPP offers services focused on housing, prenatal and parenting support, child development, family finances and stability, access to technology, domestic violence and substance abuse, family unification, and emergency support of basic needs.

SERVICE PROJECT: Bike Build April 20, 2019
Come and join the fun at our eleventh annual Bike Build. We'll build 100 brand new bikes for kids in the third, fourth, and fifth grades at a variety of schools in San Francisco. Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, friends, and family are all welcome! Students who want bicycles should contact their school's office.
 
ROTARY LUNCHEON April 23, 2019:  Brooke Ray Rivera - Building Better Public Spaces
When properly cared for, urban plazas, parks, and streets unite communities. When neglected, they divide communities and undermine shared values. Brooke Ray Rivera, Director of Place Lab, will share the thought process for building better public spaces in San Francisco.
 
RYLA: April 26-28, 2019
Started by the Rotary Club of San Francisco as Camp Enterprise over thirty years ago, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is now a district-wide program offering a three-day leadership experience each spring to over 100 high school students. This year, our Club has contributed $15,000 to support 200 campers - over 60 more than the year before.
 
This year's camp is fully staffed. There are some limited opportunities to visit the camp while it is in session in Scotts Valley. Visitors must reserve in advance. If you wish to visit the camp, contact David Dye.
 
CLUB SOCIAL April 30, 2019: Bocce, Beverages, and Bites
Enjoy an evening of bocce ball, beverages, light bites, and fellowship. Bocce is limited to the first 12 people who show up by 6 PM. Hurry! Beverages and bites are open to all during the evening. Registration closes at 5 PM on April 29.

The Rotary Club of San Francisco is sponsoring a radio project in Africa that is focused on health education. This is an opportunity to visit the site and contribute to the work.
