On May 30th, about 30 Rotarians and their guests were treated to a night under the stars at the San Francisco State University Planetarium. Our lecturer was Adrienne Cool, a member of our Club, professor in the Astronomy Department, and director of the Charles F. Hagar Planetarium.
After Jack Higgins spoke to our Club about the Los Altos Rotary AIDS Project, many Club members expressed interest in seeing the Los Altos Story video that was produced by the Los Altos Club in 1989. You can find it here.

Join us at this service opportunity where Club members and guests will stuff diaper bags with the supplies new moms need to help care for their babies. The bags will be distributed to pregnant women involved in Prenatal Classes at the Homeless Prenatal Project. Afterwards, we'll walk down the block to Mars Bar and Restaurant for food, fellowship, and fun.
Join us at one or both of the Baby Showers at the Homeless Prenatal Program where we will give expectant mothers diaper bags filled with supplies. The party for Spanish speakers starts at 10:30 AM; the party for English speakers starts at 1:00 PM.

An afternoon of poetry and music exploring a variety of perspectives on war, peace and soldiers’ experiences before, during and after battle. This performance, at the Calvary Presbyterian Church, is the West Coast awards celebration for the Heroes’ Voices National Veterans Poetry Contest. Free tickets include the reception after the performance. Volunteers are needed to bring wine, and to help with setup, ushering, and more.
