In the first meeting of our Club's 2020-2021 year, incoming Club President JT Forbus will introduce this year's Rotary International theme, Rotary Opens Opportunities, and what it means for our Club.

JT has been a member of the Rotary Club of San Francisco for five years and three months and has held the positions of Vice President of Club Service, Speakers' Chair, Nominating Committee Chair, Grants Chair, and President-elect.

JT has spent his career as a tax accountant in a small San Francisco CPA firm for the past 23 years. He prepares complex individual and business tax returns for clients locally, out of state, and abroad. JT prides himself on educating his clients so they feel empowered in their financial life.

When not crunching numbers, he is husband to his supportive wife, Anne Marie, and father to his two daughters, Leia (8) and Mae (5). JT agreed to be Club President because he believes in the purpose of Rotary and wanted to show his daughters that we can all be leaders. One of his favorite pastimes is watching college football and cheering for his Auburn Tigers! He enjoys a good laugh and welcomes humor into his everyday life.

This is a regular membership meeting of The Rotary Club of San Francisco, open to all Rotarians, visiting Rotarians, prospective members, and guests. The meeting is free, but you must register by 11 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Connection information will be provided only to those who register by the above deadline. For technical support, please contact Secretary Dora Dye before 10:30 AM on July 7, 2020.
