Enjoy lunch wherever you are while you join us online to hear today’s speaker.

Topher White, founder and CEO of Rainforest Connection, will speak on how to protect our rainforests using conservation technology. Topher is a frequent international conference speaker which has included a TED talk and two presentations at the annual Davos Conference. He is also the son of Club member, Bebo White.

Rainforest Connection is a nonprofit tech company fighting to save the rainforests from illegal logging and poaching using cutting-edge environmental technology. It has created the world's first real-time monitoring platform for protecting remote forests by capturing sound signatures of destructive activities, such as chainsaws and illegal incursions. Saving rainforests is not only the key to halting climate change, it's also vital to supporting many of the world's poorest communities who rely on rainforests for food, shelter, and livelihood.

Topher's accolades include:  Pongo Environmental Prize (2016), SAP Innovation Award | Next-Gen Innovator (2018), Rolex.org laureate (2019), Draper Richards Kaplan Fellow (2016), and National Geographic | Emerging Explorer (2015).
